Aussie Beaches - everyone should visit at least one in their lifetime!
Australian State Beaches covers both the six states and two territories that make up Australia as well as including the islands that the respective state or territory is responsible for.
With Australia itself being an island it is certainly not uncommon to expect it to be a home of beaches – which in fact it is – some so well known that they belong to the World Surfing regime – such as Bells Beach near Torquay Victoria which annually holds the Rip Curl Pro Surf and Music Festival at Easter, not to forget Cable Beach in Broome Western Australia where you can ride a camel on the beach, to some beaches that are almost hidden to the general public and unless a local you’d never know they were there.
For a starting point to determine both distance and direction, Point of Origin has been used as the address of the GPO (General Post Office), in each Capital City and will be listed on each page.
